In Windows 7 your private SkyDrive and SkyDrive Pro (SharePoint Online in Office 365) did work smoothly in windows explorer.
But in Windows 8.1 when your computer is domain joined, your private SkyDrive has stopped doing the job as it should.
To get your private SkyDrive to sync again with your domain joined windows 8.1, you can do following steps.
1, Change DisablePersonalDirChange to 0 in HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVerssion\Policies\Explorer
2, Disconnect your domain account in
Windows 8 -> Settings -> Change PC settings -> Accounts
3, Then connect to your private [Microsoft Account]
For me it did work directly.
But it can be necessary to start skydrive.exe or restart your computer.
Follow is the steps in detail.
